In November 2017, Nexif Energy obtained a government approval to develop, construct and operate an 80 MW wind power project located in Thanh Phu district, Ben Tre Province, Vietnam about 140 km south of Ho Chi Minh City.

Ben Tre Wind Project has been approved under PDP7 and is part of the transitional projects. Land required for the project has been acquired and all key permits are in place including Grid Connection Agreement.

On 20 December 2022, Nexif Energy’s interests in the Ben Tre projects were transferred to its 51% owned subsidiary, Nexif Ratch Energy.
