Glen Innes

Nexif Energy, is developing a 90 MW wind power project in New South Wales, Australia.

The project has received all necessary government and local planning and development approvals. The site is located on the Waterloo Range and is situated approximately 12 km west of Glen Innes a small town in the Northern Tablelands region of New South Wales.

The project involves the construction and operation of up to 25 wind turbines each with a potential capacity of up to 3.6 MW. The project will feed into the electricity grid via the Transgrid transmission network and produce enough electricity to power approximately 47,000 homes.

Construction for the project is expected to commence in early 2017 and the project will start generating electricity in mid-2018.
