Nexif Energy owns and is developing the Negros Solar PV solar renewable energy project located across Barangay Felisa, Bacolod City and Barangay Tabunan, Bago City, Negros Occidental province, Visayas, Philippines. The project will have a capacity of 150 MWp and will be connected to the electricity grid through a 5km transmission line connecting to the Mansilingan substation in Bacolod City. Nexif has secured around 109 hectares of unused land through long term land lease agreements for the project. The land already has the appropriate zoning and key documents including the Solar Energy Service Contract, Confirmation of Commerciality and grid connection agreement are in place. The project is currently undergoing the final stages of development and construction is targeted to start in 2022.
